How to Use the Ministry Community Directory (MCD):

Our church has two overarching goals: everyone in a ministry community and everyone taking the next step in faith development each semester. We strive to mature to the FULL stature of Christ: Focused on God; Unified in Community; Learning from the Word; Living by Serving and Sharing. Using this Ministry Community Directory as a guide, we encourage you to find a ministry community which will help you become FULL.

The FULL Stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Transformation is an ongoing process. God is never done shaping and forming us.

While none of us will ever be "perfect Christians," if we believe in grace, then we have to believe that God is perfecting us in love, helping us grow in maturity into the likeness of Jesus Christ, our example.

Ephesians 4:13 calls this "the full stature of Christ." There are many practices that we believe are transformative because they open us to experience these gifts of God's transforming grace.

We have identified four areas that best represent the journey of transformation:

  • Focused on God: spiritually centered on God's desires and purposes for our faithful living through worship, prayer and other spiritual disciplines.
  • Unified in Community: connected to other Christians, because we need other people, to know, to be known, and to journey together with friends who hold us accountable.
  • Learning the Word: continuously learning more about the nature of God and our relationship to God through the scriptures.
  • Living by Serving and Sharing: always serving both in the church and community, sharing the Good News with those in our lives.
