Attending the prom is important to many young women, and often the expenses associated with the event make it extremely difficult for many families – especially in difficult economic times. The Prom Shoppe, an outreach ministry of the Apex UMC Family, works to alleviate this burden. The shop provides prom dresses — as well as shoes, jewelry and accessories — to area teens, serving Wake and Chatham counties and beyond. We will host the 9th annual Prom Shoppe on March 24 and 25!

There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend – please come be a part of this amazing event. If you can’t help the during the event, we can always use donations of dresses, shoes, jewelry, unused makeup/perfume. Donations can be droped off at the church office Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
