Our contemplative worship service has re-launched at a new time – Sundays at 5 p.m. – and we would love to have you join us. If you have never attended a contemplative service, come try it one week and experience what this service has to offer. Folks who worship on Sunday evening come dressed casually, yet appreciate the rich traditions of worship as an opportunity to experience God through weekly communion, prayerful silence, relevant preaching and intimate, acoustic music. We offer children’s programming and nursery, and youth are invited to stay for Sunday night youth group after the service. If you’re out of town one weekend, you don’t have to miss worship at Apex UMC! We’d love to see you on Sunday night!

Here is what Sunday evenings at Apex UMC look like:

We will have organizing services Sept. 17 and 24 that will include various worship elements alongside opportunities to plug into the many service opportunities connected to this worship experience. We will then have our 100th Anniversary Celebration on Oct. 1, with the full service launch on Oct. 8.

We are so excited about this new Sunday evening experience for our Apex UMC community and can’t wait to see what God brings to this service. We are incredibly grateful to the lay leaders who love this contemplative worship service and came together to discern how we might best offer this experience to our community moving forward.
