Can you help our neighbors in need this holiday season? We are partnering with Western Wake Crisis Ministry to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in our community who might go without. Paper bags with food lists will be handed out after worship services on Nov. 5. Bags will be collected the following week, Nov. 12, before worship services. All bags collected during Sunday morning services will be delivered to WWCM by 12 p.m. on Nov. 12, and bags collected at our Sunday evening service will be delivered on Nov. 13.

If you are unable to pick up a bag at worship and want to participate, please fill a paper grocery bag with the following items:

  • 1 large box stuffing mix
  • 2 cans vegetables (green beans, peas, corn)
  • 1 large can sweet potatoes
  • 1 large box dry potatoes
  • 1 DRY box dinner rolls or cornbread mix
  • Brownie Mix

Please place the following items in plastic bags:

  • 1 bag (3 lbs.) onions
  • 1 bag (3 lbs.) apples
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 lb. butter or margarine

Please also include $15 toward the purchase of a turkey. Give checks directly to the volunteer collecting your bag as checks left in paper bags may be misplaced during group collections. The total cost of the items should be around $50. Cash donations are also welcome. Checks can be made payable to WWCM. Thank you for your kind support in helping to make this a special holiday for our neighbors in need!
