Sanctuary Update

Last Sunday during the 11:00 traditional service, a sprinkler head burst in our sanctuary ceiling from the extreme cold temperatures. There was a significant amount of water on the left side entrance behind the piano. Out of an abundance of caution, we will hold all worship services this Sunday, Jan. 14, in the Christian Life Center. We will have an 8:15 traditional service, a 9:35 contemporary service and an 11:00 blended service which will include both our chancel choir and praise team.

40-Day Bible Challenge

Join others at Apex UMC in committing to read the Bible for 40 consecutive days! Identify a small group (2-5) and make a commitment to each other to read the assigned scripture for 40 consecutive days. Take the pledge online!

Habitat Winter Build

Apex UMC and Fiesta Cristiana, along with a dozen other churches, have partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County to build a house in Apex this winter at 1516 Boxwood Lane in the Knollwood neighborhood. read more…

Parents Managing Media Workshop

The Peak’s Families Together program is partnering with Village Counseling and Coaching based in Charlotte, N.C., to bring you this awesome workshop. Come educate yourself about the brain science behind screen use and learn about the physical effects of overuse of video games and social media. read more…

Confirmation 2018

Confirmation is a journey where students (grades 6-12) work through sessions that deal with the fundamentals of Christianity, what being part of the church looks like, and what it means to be a United Methodist. We learn what it means to be part of the Body of Christ and how, together, we strengthen each other’s faith. Registration is now open.

Youth Talent Show and Dinner

Women’s Fitness Class

Renew your energy. Build strength. Feel better! All women are invited – mothers, daughters, grandmothers and friends! Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 4-May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in DC 300. Must be 13 years or older to participate. Provided by Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, Kim DeGeorge. Register by contacting Kim.

Paper With Purpose

Please join us Thursday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to make valentines for teens in Chatham County to share with their families. We will also make cards for the We Missed You Ministry to share with the congregation. No experience is needed and all supplies are provided. Contact Lori Fahs with any questions.
