The mission of the Centro de Recursos Familiar is to be a trusted source connecting Hispanic/Latino families in Western Wake County with the available resources in the areas of health, education, legal and other basic needs. Partnering with Apex Immigration Services, Western Wake Crisis Ministry, Casa El Salvador, Apex Police Department, Centro Hispano of Durham and the March of Dimes, the CRF provides U.S. Citizenship classes, English as a Second Language classes and health and mental health screenings and education. It also offers referral services for affordable health care, tutoring, emergency services, domestic violence support, recovery support, immigration support and food and other basic needs.
CRF is located at 203 East Moore Street in Apex and is open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning Jan. 18. For more information, please contact Inés Freile.
